Blancpain is launching a new watch specially designed for Valentine’s Day

The watch is crafted in stainless steel and it measures 34mm in diameter and has a bezel set with two rows of full-cut diamonds.

The watch features a white mother-of-pearl dial graced with diamond hour-markers.

There are also five lacquered mother-of-pearl marquetry hearts, painted in red.

The hearts are applied in liquid form and then carefully fired until they solidify.

The Blancpain Ultraplate Saint Valentin 2013 is designed for ladies who appreciate fine watchmaking and it utilizes a mechanical self-winding Calibre 1150.

The movement provides 100 hours of power reserve and animates a date indicator.

The rotor is very charming and embellished with tiny red hearts. It reveals its splendor through the sapphire crystal case-back.

The watch will be available in a limited edition that comprises of 99 exemplars.

Each of the pieces of this special series is mounted on a white ostrich leather strap and features about 0.78 diamond carat weigh.

The watch cames in a white wooden presentation box encrusted with white hearts.
