If you're familiar with the history of the Panerai, then you know that Officine Panerai used to supply the Italian Royal Navy in their operations during World War II.

COMPOSITE

The composite is actually obtained through an electrochemical process in which the aluminum is ceramizated to make it even harder and lighter than the regular ceramics or even aluminum, steel and titanium.

The material can also be synthesized in different colors, it is manipulable enough for even the most complex geometric shapes and extremely inert, so it doesn't change in appearance and quality over time.

Radiomir Composite Black Seal 3-Days Automatic PAM00505 is made from the same material and it features the same color scheme, but what makes it a bit more interesting than its couple are the functions propelled by the in-house automatic movement caliber P.9000.

This movement also provides 3 days of power reserve in addition to a stop-seconds function, a date indication at 3 o'clock position, and a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock. Radiomir Composite Black Seal 3-Days Automatic is named after the slow-speed torpedoes used by the Italian Navy during the World War II.
