LEGENDARY DAYTONA CHRONOGRAPH ENTIRELY IN PLATINUM

Rolex is introducing a new version of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona for 2013, the famous model launched in 1963. This legendary chronograph is proposed for the first time entirely in platinum 950, the noblest of precious metals and is equipped with a chestnut brown monobloc Cerachrom bezel and an ice blue dial.

The Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement with a column wheel entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. The 4130 calibre is a certified Swiss chronometer, a designation only for high-precision watches that have successfully passed the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) tests.

A WATCH FOR MEN ONLY

With a 40 mm case, guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres. The midle case is crafted from a solid block of platinum. The fluted case back is hermetically screwed down. The winding crown, with the triplock triple waterproofness system, screws down securely against the case and protected by a crown guard that forms an integral part of the middle case, the pushers are also screw down against the case.
