ROLEX - GMT MASTER II

Rolex introduced a new version of GMT-Master II with a rotating bezel equipped for the first time, a hard ceramic Cerachrom blue and black.

Simultaneously displaying two time zones so very readable, the GMT-Master became the official watch of Pan Am, one of the airlines most emblematic of civil aviation. The GMT Master It has become an important tool for their pilots.

EXCLUSIVE TWO-COLOUR CERACHROM BEZEL

The Cerachrom bezel insert is obtained by a unique process developed and patented by Rolex which allows this ceramic component with two colours to be produced as a single piece. The engraved 24-hour graduations are coated with a thin layer of platinum via a Physical Vapour Deposition process.

OYSTER CASE - WATERPROOFNESS AND ROBUSTNESS

The new GMT-Master II have a 40 mm Oyster case, guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres. The waterproof Oyster case provides optimal protection for the high-precision movement. The shaped middle case is crafted from a solid block of particularly corrosion-resistant 904L steel. The case back is hermetically screwed down with a exclusive Rolex special tool. The crown with waterproofness system, the screws down securely against the case. It is protected by a crown guard that forms an integral part of the middle case. The crystal is made of virtually scratchproof sapphire.
