Basel, 02.04.08 – The Khaki BeLOWZERO watches from Hamilton have no fear of running into Poseidon, god of the Sea, on their underwater travels. And their confidence is justified with water resistance to the depth of up to 1000 meters, depending on the model. Sealed inside these high-tech diving watches are design and performance features that equip the wearer for any adventure, above or below sea level. Three different versions, varying in size and movement type, are guaranteed to make waves - even on dry land.

A thousand possibilities

The BeLOWZERO Auto 2826, water resistant to a depth of 1000 m, is equipped with a helium escape valve, a one-way valve that releases any helium that may have been trapped inside the watch housing to escape as the diver ascends. With a thickness of 5.6 mm, the convex crystal, reminiscent of a smooth bubble, is also well prepared for any underwater antics. The design of the watch reflects its performance capability with details such as a fish symbol declaring the extent of the water resistance and a diving mask pictured on the case back and on the special, rubber-feel presentation box. The four bold screw tops around the case are octagonal – to appeal to passing octopuses maybe? The stylish color palette for this model is black and silver. Sporty black rubber, commonly associated with diving gear, is present in every fully integrated attachment and the buckle even has double holes for maximum security.

Ascending to the surface

Two further Hamilton Khaki BeLOWZERO models have water resistance to 200 m and ascend to new heights in terms of looks and functionality. Seamlessly merging top quality tactile materials, the robust 42 mm BeLOWZERO Auto 2824 and the 46 mm BeLOWZERO Auto Chrono mirror the diving theme and also have easily visible digits, plus an elongated zero at the 12 o’clock position. Taking after their ‘deeper’ sibling, they have Superluminova numbers and hands, plus an easy-toread date. These elegant timepieces add leather in black or brown croco style, tan and white, or even glistening stainless steel bracelets, to the sporty rubber strap alternative.
